Job summary

Italdesign is seeking an Integration specialist to join our Integration team in Moncalieri. You will lead the integration of complex automotive, aerospace and robotics systems, ensure system and test requirements are defined, and drive functional validation across real ECUs and test benches.

Fluent English is mandatory, Italian/German knowledge is welcome. The role offers on-site work in Moncalieri with potential travel, a strong compensation package and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive software integration and/or Electric and Electronic Architectures (Tier1/OEMs).
• Strong knowledge of bus networks and protocols (CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP).
• Experience with CANoe, Canape tools.
• Proven leadership and team coordination skills with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with engineering management systems (System42, Doors, Ti-Rex, KVS, Jira, Confluence).
• Experience in network fault finding and first-level analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of complex systems for Automotive, Aerospace and Robotics projects.
• Create and maintain system requirements and system test requirements.
• Design and execute functional smoke tests on benches, simulators and real ECUs/vehicles.
• Coordinate with other function developers to define impacts on other domains.
• Track issues, analyze defects and drive corrective actions across the lifecycle.
• Manage software updates impacts due to vehicle architecture changes; troubleshoot DTCS.
• Oversee production release process to deliver components in series with quality.
• Perform deep on-board diagnosis of systems and ECUs.
• Ensure SW and HW configuration installed in the vehicle.

Posizione:

Italdesign is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our Integration team.

As an Integration specialist, you will be involved in different projects to integrate new/modified components or subsystem in existing platforms.

You will implement the technical concepts required by standards and regulations according to the specific project constraints.

You will evaluate performance and functional results to manage the final release of the integration process and remove defects affecting the related functional domain.

You will be responsible for SW and HW configuration and ensure all systems work properly together and you will be part of an interdisciplinary, networked and Agile team. Together with Integration specialists and Integration step managers, you will be part of the development process for series and pre-series vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development and integration of complex systems for Automotive, Aerospace and Robotics projects;
• System requirements and System test requirements creation and maintenance;
• Design and execution of Functional smoke tests on test benches both in simulation environment and with real ECU, as well as on complete vehicles;
• Interface with other Function Developers to define and manage function impacts on other domains;
• Issue tracking, defect analysis and driving corrective actions across the software development lifecycle;
• Manage impacts to New SW due to vehicle architecture changes: troubleshooting and DTCs analysis;
• Manage the production release process to finally deliver the component in series ensuring the product quality;
• Deep diagnosis on board for all system and ECUs;
• Responsible for SW and HW configuration installed in the vehicle.

Requisiti:

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive software integration and/or Electric and Electronic Architectures (Tier1/OEMs)
• Strong knowledge of the common Bus network technologies and protocols (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP etc.)
• Experience with CANOe, Canape tools
• Proven leadership and team coordination skills, with strong decision-making and complex problem-solving abilities à 4 Vincolante
• Experience on various engineering management systems (System42, Doors, Ti-Rex, KVS, Jira, Confluence, etc…);
• Experience in Network to identify/establish errors and first level analysis, as well as proper error address to component and function owners

Preferential Requirements

• Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software System requirements and specifications;
• Prior experience in ECU's SW Validation or ECU series SW design/development;
• Experience with Version management tool;
• Experience with diagnosis tool and ISO 14229 (UDS protocol);
• Experience with SW update and troubleshooting;
• Experience with HW and SW product development and maintenance.

Compensation Package

Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL)

Italian National Metalworkers’ Collective Labour Agreement.

Base Salary (RAL)

The gross annual base salary offered for this position will be no less than € 36.000

Final Compensation

The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, competencies and qualifications, and on the applicable role level, in line with the company’s internal compensation framework. The final salary may therefore be higher than the minimum amount stated above.

Variable Compensation

Eligible employees will participate in the company’s variable compensation programmes, subject to role eligibility and the applicable company policies in force at the time of employment. Details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
