Ohb Italia seeks a MAIT engineer to support satellite and payload integration, contributing to the mechanical integration of structures, EMs, flight units, and harnesses. You will define and implement MAIT processes and related documents, collaborating with the AIT team to ensure successful environmental and launch campaigns.

You’ll install and manage thermal and mechanical sensors, support MGSE activities, and provide mechanical support during launch campaigns, aiming for reliable system-level

• Define and implement satellite/payload integration approaches
• Implement satellite/payload integration procedures
• Collaborate on mechanical integration of NAOS SM, EM, and PFM model
• Collaborate on mechanical integration of EM and flight units
• Collaborate on mechanical integration of flight harness
• Install thermal and mechanical sensors (thermocouples, thermistors, heaters, accelerometers)
• Define and implement MAIT processes and documents
• Handle Satellite/Payload MGSE and use of cherry picker
