The Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT seeks a Senior Associate, Science Valorization & Industry Engagement to strengthen the link between research, market opportunities, and industry partnerships in Rome, Italy.
You will contribute to innovation programmes, lab-to-market initiatives, and industry engagement activities, aiming to improve commercial readiness, sustainability, and impact potential of agri-food innovations supported by A4IP.
Competenze
- Excellent written and oral English
- Experience with innovation programmes or tech transfer
- Knowledge of agri-food ecosystems and market readiness
- Experience with partnerships and stakeholder engagement
- Experience coordinating projects and reporting
Mansioni
- Support valorization of scientific innovations for market readiness
- Coordinate lab-to-market programmes and innovation challenges
- Develop partnerships between innovation teams and private sector
- Contribute to scaling and positioning of agri-food innovations
- Support fundraising, proposals, and programme visibility
- Collaborate with internal teams for tech-transfer activities
- Engage startups, investors, and researchers in programmes
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and organize events
- Prepare project documents and reports
