The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking a nationally recruited staff member based in Rome to strengthen the link between research, market opportunities, and industry partnerships. The role focuses on innovation programmes, lab‑to‑market initiatives, and diversification activities to improve commercial readiness, sustainability, and impact of agri‑food innovations.

Based in Rome, the position reports to the Senior Manager Business Development and Diversification and supports

Competenze

• Good understanding of the agri‑food innovation ecosystem and innovation‑to‑market processes.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess innovation potential and market relevance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
