Deel is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Tech Lead to shape the core platform used by hundreds of engineers daily. You will guide technical direction, design scalable infra, and stay hands-on with architecture and code to enable rapid, global service provisioning.

In this role you’ll lead incident response, automate toil, drive edge routing and migrations, and evolve the observability stack. You’ll collaborate across DevOps, DBA, InfoSec, and product teams to deliver reliable, secure, and

Competenze

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years focused on infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps).
• 2+ years as a technical lead with distributed, cross-timezone teams.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures (Kafka, NATS).
• Kubernetes architecture and operator/control plane experience.
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and scaling within platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bias for action and well-documented decisions.
• Strong collaboration across DevOps, DBA, InfoSec, and product teams.
