Siemens Energy Venice site is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to drive productivity improvements and advance technology development across key processes from winding to final assembly.

You will evaluate automation concepts, prepare CapEx investments, and support cross-site standardization while collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering to deliver robust, cost-efficient solutions that add measurable business value.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of professional experience in manufacturing technology, production engineering, or equipment engineering, preferably in transformer manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English; German language skills are a plus.
• Drive innovation and business value by quickly understanding complex technologies, evaluating investment opportunities through economic and financial analysis, and applying sound project management practices to deliver results.
• Collaborate and lead change as an open-minded team player with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to challenge the status quo to identify and implement new, more effective ways of working.

Mansioni

• Define and enhance manufacturing technologies for key processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate technology concepts to improve productivity and process robustness while promoting cross-site standardization.
• Drive technology transfer and share best practices between the Venice site and the wider Cluster MPT network.
• Identify equipment and automation needs, translating them into technical specifications for the CapEx portfolio.
• Support RFI/RFQ activities and collaborate closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering stakeholders to select the best suppliers.
