Saipem is seeking an experienced Automation & Advanced Control Systems Lead to drive engineering activities from estimation through detail design and site execution for onshore plants and floaters in a global energy setting.

The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, delivering robust control system architectures, and ensuring compliance with safety and project standards in a highly digitized environment. Milan-based with international opportunities.

Competenze

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative team.
• Interface with engineering disciplines and suppliers to optimize solutions from a technical/economical point of view.
• Independently capture, analyze and solve interdisciplinary control systems issues.
• Detailed knowledge of Control and Safety Systems codes and standards both domestic and international.
• Knowledge of OT Cyber Security requirements for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IEC 62443).
• Knowledge of main digital environments used for plant design and material management (Aveva, Hexagon, Autodesk).
• Strong attitude for working in highly digitized environments.

Mansioni

• Keep monitoring and control of project scope and execution, verify budget alignment and plan resources.
• Review, analyze and endorse Client technical documentation, develop Control Systems specifications and architecture.
• Prepare technical requisitions for material and services and evaluate bidders.
• Monitor vendor design documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements and schedule.
• Support other functions with technical evaluations, cost estimates and risk assessments.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external activities and ensure timely execution of specialist engineering.
• Optimize control systems design for cost and safety and perform site activities during construction.
