IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, invites applications for a Lab Technician/Research Assistant to join the Process Development Lab (PDL). The role focuses on genetic engineering of T lymphocytes and HSC, with duties spanning culture, modification, assay work and protocol preparation.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor or Master in Biomedical/Lab sciences, with strong wet-lab experience, good English, and an interest in ATMP and GMP environments.

Competenze

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Biomedical Laboratory/related field.
• PhD is a plus.
• Strong wet-lab experience.
• High accuracy, reliability and precision.
• Good oral and written English.
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ATMP is a plus.

Mansioni

• Isolate, culture and genetically modify T lymphocytes and HSC (lentiviral transduction, gene editing).
• Process scale-up and standardization.
• Cell-based assays, molecular assays and flow cytometry analyses.
• Preparation of standard lab procedures and protocols.
• General lab support and compliance with safety and quality standards.
