ams OSRAM's LSP division is seeking a Validation Engineer to strengthen testability in the lab and drive automated validation workflows for semiconductor products. You will work with design teams to translate specifications into robust lab validation and report findings with clear documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in semiconductor validation, expertise in measurement techniques, and proficiency in Python and NI LabVIEW.

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Experience in semiconductor validation is preferred.
Strong knowledge of measurement techniques and lab instrumentation.
Proficiency with Python and NI LabVIEW for automated validation.

Mansioni

Support the design team during development to ensure testability in the lab.
Develop validation concepts from specs and drive lab characterization.
Investigate unexpected test results with the design team.
Design and layout PCBs for electrical evaluation of ICs.
Define test methodologies and lab setups using appropriate instrumentation.
Develop software for automated validation workflows.
Prepare technical documentation and reports of measurement results.
Collaborate with leaders, engineers and test development throughout the product cycle.
