Job summary

Telespazio Flight Dynamics in Italy seeks a candidate with a BS or MSc in mathematics, physics, aerospace or related engineering to join a ~20-person team at the Fucino Space Centre. The role covers Mission Analysis, Operations Preparation, and LEOP support, with readiness for nonroutine hours and international travel.

Ideal candidates have up to 5 years of experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and knowledge of Java and OREKIT; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in mathematics, physics, aerospace or related engineering required.
• 0–5 years of experience preferred.
• English proficiency required.
• Programming skills in Java recommended.
• OREKIT library knowledge preferred but not required.
• Eligibility to obtain security clearances for National Programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mission Analysis support for Flight Dynamics requirements specification, design, development and verification.
• Support Operations Concept definition and Operations Preparation.
• Support Definition, Preparation and Execution of LEOP.
• Support Definition, Preparation and Execution of routine phases from Commissioning to Graveyarding.
• Assist in anomaly resolution and investigation in Flight Dynamics for LEO, MEO and GEO satellites.
• Implement needed System Evolutions in Procedures and Configurations.
