Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Proposal Estimator for the Building Solutions division in the Milan area, to generate budgetary and firm cost estimates for projects and maintenance agreements. You will partner with Sales, Solution Advisors and Design Engineers, coordinating with vendors, customers and delivery teams to deliver accurate, timely estimates aligned with business objectives.

The role focuses on BMS/HVAC, security and potentially fire systems, with a strong emphasis on cost

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electronics, mechanical or building automation engineering or related field.
Proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to operate collaboratively.
Understanding of digital/cloud technologies.
Develop macros in Excel to expedite the estimation process.

Assist sales in securing business by developing accurate, timely estimates for BMS/HVAC and Security/Fire systems.
Compare sales information to delivered information and guide factors for competitive estimating of future jobs.
Support efforts to obtain or retain a competitive position.
Ensure 100% compliance with health and safety policies.
Engage early with sales to understand enquiries and design suitable solutions.
Work with operations to agree on cost assessments and anticipate risks.
Maintain product knowledge and current portfolio standards.
Develop detailed BOMs and risk analyses when necessary.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain vendor quotes for all supplies and subcontracted work.
