Job summary

Siemens in Italy seeks a Project Financial Controller, based in Milan or Rome with a flexible hybrid model. You will ensure accurate project accounting, support profit optimization, and manage commercial risk across multiple projects.

The role requires 4+ years in financial project functions, degrees in Economics or Management Engineering, and fluency in English and Italian. SAP knowledge is a plus, with a collaborative, proactive mindset expected.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in financial project functions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or Management Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Strong analytical and planning skills with risk management and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration, with effective communication across levels and cultures.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines autonomously.
• Eligibility to work in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including SAP, and compliance with local GAAP requirements.
• Assess cost and pricing calculations and maintain project books in ERP systems.
• Support the Project Manager with financial results analysis to optimize gross profit, cash flow and financing.
• Communicate with customer's commercial representatives and resolve commercial issues.
• Assist in contract and claim management within the project.
• Identify, evaluate and respond to risks and opportunities for commercial risk management.
• Support consolidation of accounting, financial reporting and related operations.
