BizAway is seeking a driven Accounting Intern to contribute to the growth and success of our Accounting Team in Milan. You will work with our accountants on the full monthly closing cycle, gaining hands-on experience in the books of an international, fast-growing company.

You will be paired with mentors and enjoy a growth path, working across day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliations, audits, and reporting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration; Accounting diploma is a plus.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and Italian GAAP; IFRS exposure is a plus.
• Previous internship or academic project in accounting, finance or audit is welcome.
• Good knowledge of spreadsheet software, such as Excel; familiarity with NetSuite or ERP accounting software is a plus.
• Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to handle numbers and deadlines.
• Good time management, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands-on attitude.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, with the confidence to ask questions in a collaborative team.
• Good level of English and Italian are mandatory.
• Eligibility to carry out an internship in Italy and availability to be based in our Milan office.

Mansioni

• Supporting day-to-day general accounting activities.
• Maintaining the fixed assets register and reconciling with the general ledger.
• Performing bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Supporting the month-end closing process and closing schedules.
• Preparing documentation for external auditors during audits.
• Maintaining accurate and complete accounting records.
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assisting tax advisors with VAT filings and with tax forms.
• Preparing recurring reports and simple analyses for the Finance team.
