Vertiv in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy, is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, and support control software for HVAC and refrigeration systems. You will work in an ETO environment with cross‑functional teams across Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Validation, Manufacturing and Service.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering with 2+ years in controls, knowledge of IEC 61131-3, Modbus/BACnet/CAN/EtherNet/IP, and strong English documentation skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in controls/automation project experience
• Knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration controls and thermodynamic cycle
• Familiarity with Modbus, BACnet, CAN, EtherNet/IP
• Ability to write clear technical docs in English
• Experience in prototype bring‑up, lab testing, commissioning, or validation

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test, and support control software for HVAC/refrigeration systems
• Analyze requirements and contribute to functional specifications
• Implement and maintain control applications (PLC/industrial controllers)
• Verify software against requirements and perform diagnostics
• Define interfaces for HMI, networks, and protocols
