Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals, part of the M Renewables team in Italy, seeks an HSE Site Supervisor to oversee safety on diverse sites. The role requires 3–5 years of HSE construction experience, knowledge of Italian HSE law, and fluent English and Italian, with the aim to ensure full HSE compliance.

Based in Italy, you will coordinate with contractors, prepare and maintain safety plans and documentation, and contribute to a culture of resilience and excellence in our renewables projects.

Qualifications

HSE construction experience (3–5 years) required.
Energy project experience is an advantage.
University degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus.
Knowledge of Italian HSE Legislation required.
Fluent English and fluent Italian are required.

Responsibilities

Monitor, evaluate, and analyze the effectiveness of HSE Plans and propose improvement actions.
Supervise activities and check documentation on site of contractor e/o subcontractor.
Review, analyze and prepare Safety Plans for the construction site.
Review project drawings and POS to identify foreseeable H&S problems for construction.
Ensure HSE information is displayed in the site office and site is compliant with HSE documentation.
Prepare the site’s H&S files in accordance with PSC, POS, and legal requirements; keep files up to date.
Establish information for emergency plans, power networks, environmental agency, gas network, water, BT, hospital, police, fire and HSE; prepare the site’s emergency plan.
Control subcontractors’ H&S through briefings and discussions

Job Description HSE Site Supervisor 20/10/2026 Job Description:

We are currently looking for HSE Site Supervisor to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN for different sites.

Your role will encompass:

Monitor, evaluate, and analyze the effectiveness of HSE Plans and propose improvement actions.
Supervise activities and check documentation on site of contractor e/o subcontractor
Review, analyze and prepare, if requested, Safety Plans for the construction site.
Review when required, project drawings and POS to identify any foreseeable health and safety (H&S) problems for construction
Ensure the required HSE information is displayed in the site office and site is fully compliant with all HSE documentation
Prepare the site’s H&S files in accordance with PSC, POS, and legal requirements. Ensure all files are always up to date.
Establish key information required for the emergency plans, power networks, environmental agency, gas network, water, BT, hospital, police, fire and HSE. Prepare the site’s emergency plan.
Control of subcontractors H&S through briefings and discussion

What you bring to the role:

HSE construction experience (minimum 3-5 years of experience).
Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage.
University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering is a plus.
Knowledge of Italian HSE Legislation
Fluent English and fluent Italian

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €35,100, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
Applicable CCNL: MetalmeccanicoCNA Level / Inquadramento: B1

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
