Piloda Group, based in Naples, is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in a shipyard environment. This role involves managing HSE activities, coordinating audits, and fostering a strong safety culture.

Competenze

Piloda Shipyard Srl, a fast-growing industrial company in theshipbuilding sector, is looking for anHSE Specialistto join its Naples Business Unit.

The selected candidate, reporting directly to General Management, will play a central role in ensuring the correct application of regulations regardinghealth, safety, and preventionin the workplace, operating in acomplex and highly specialized shipyard environment.

The role

The HSE Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and overseeingHSE activitiesin accordance with current health and safety regulations, with particular focus on shipyard operations. The role involves close collaboration with company functions and contractors, contributing to the development of a strongsafety cultureand continuous process improvement.

Main activities

Managing compliance with workplace health and safety regulations

Drafting, updating, and monitoring theRisk Assessment Document (DVR)and other technical safety documentation

Managing internal and external audits and inspections (ASL, INAIL, Port Authority, certification bodies)

Coordinating contractors and subcontractors (DUVRI, POS, PSC)

Supervising on-site activities and verifying compliance with procedures and proper use of PPE

Evaluating and managing specific risks (work at height, confined spaces, welding, lifting operations, ATEX)

Providing technical support to Management and preparing periodic reports

Occasional national travel to shipyards or operational sites

Ideal profile

Master’s degree in Engineering (Safety, Environmental, Management, or related fields) –considered a plus, not mandatory

Experience in HSE roles within structured environments, preferably in shipyards, industrial, or offshore contexts

Solid knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management systems

Good command of English

Proactive approach, operational autonomy, organizational and interpersonal skills
