Freudenberg Sealing Technologies is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at our Castelli Calepio site in Italy. The role focuses on enforcing legal compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a safe and sustainable workplace.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science Safety with at least 3 years of related experience and fluent English communication.

HSE Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead with impact! As our HSE Manager, you will be at the forefront of promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. You will spearhead initiatives that not only ensure compliance with legal standards but also drive continuous improvement in our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices. Your leadership will be pivotal in minimizing risks, enhancing safety protocols, and fostering a sustainable workplace.
• Your impact:
• Legale Compliance: Ensure full legal compliance in safety and environmental matters, safeguarding our commitment to regulatory standards.
• System Implementation & Improvement: Implement, maintain, and continuously improve our Environmental Management and Safety System.
• HSE Audits: Plan and execute comprehensive HSE audits, ensuring a proactive stance of safety.
• Safety Initiatives: Champion our safety initiatives by identifying and eliminating or minimizing risks and environmental impacts.
• Reporting: Accurately report key HSE indicators, adhering to corporate and governmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science Safety, or a related field
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Health and Safety roles. Proven experience in developing and delivering impactful training courses.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Skills needed, for Success in this role:
• Preferably certified by local/regional occupational safety and environmental authorities.
• Certification as an RSPP is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in interpreting and implementing relevant HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
