Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in Pinerolo, Italy is seeking an Accounting Specialist (f/m/d) to handle general ledger activities, monthly closings, VAT compliance and treasury tasks. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields and 2–3 years of R2R exposure, with strong Excel and SAP knowledge.

English proficiency is essential; willingness to travel internationally is around 10%.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; IFRS familiarity is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in English.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP requirements.

Accounting Specialist (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting
• Manage daily GL activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and foreign exchange related transactions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP requirements.
• Support the maintenance and consistency of financial master data and accounting structures.
• Tax & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, withholding taxes, and other local tax requirements.
• Manage Confirmation of Arrivals (CoA), and EU reporting requirements where applicable.
• Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities.
• Closing & Reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation required.
• Treasury & Payments
• Execute manual and mass payment runs.
• Support cash reporting and treasury-related activities.
• Audit Support
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit documentation and ensure timely responses to auditors.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar roles.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Languages: Excellent proficiency in English.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving attitude, team‑oriented approach, flexibility, and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 10%).
