Freudenberg Group is seeking a senior HSE leader to head the team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will drive risk assessment rigor, deliver advanced training, and spearhead ergonomic and safe working practices to protect employees.

Responsibilities include guiding incident analysis, implementing preventive actions, and ensuring compliance with evolving safety standards across sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7–10 years in HSE, EHS, or safety management within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• 3–5 years of experience leading HSE teams or programs.
• Experience managing site-level or multi-site HSE operations.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirements.

• Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development

• Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions

• Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences

• Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards

• Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization

• Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards

• Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials

• Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in HSE, EHS, or safety management within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
• 3-5 years of experience leading HSE teams or programs
• Proven experience managing site-level or multi-site HSE operations
• Experience working in regulated environments with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirements

The minimum gross annual salary for this position in Italy is € 42,000. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
