Sitel Corp. Milano seeks an HR Manager to ensure legal compliance across all employment-related matters and to provide expert guidance on Italian labor law and risk management.

The role serves as a senior advisor to leadership and HR teams, aligning Italian legislation with Foundever’s global HR policies. You will monitor changes in employment law, support policy development, and coordinate with external counsel and regulators while maintaining governance and documentation.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in law with focus on employment or labor law is required.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Italian labor legislation and employment practices.
  • Experience advising leadership and HR teams in multinational settings is preferred.

Mansioni

  • Ensure compliance with Italian labor law, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and terminations.
  • Provide advisory support to senior leaders and HR partners on labor law and employee relations matters.
  • Liaise with external counsel, labor authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Deliver training and guidance on labor law, employee relations, and HR policies to managers and teams.

Descrizione del lavoro

The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring legal compliance across all employment-related matters while providing expert guidance on labor law, employee relations, and risk management. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership and HR teams, ensuring alignment between Italian labor legislation and Foundever’s global HR policies.

Key Responsibilities
Employment Law & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with Italian labor legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in employment law and proactively advise leadership and HR stakeholders on potential impacts and required actions.
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation in line with legal requirements.
Employee Relations & Case Management
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations, and terminations.
  • Provide expert guidance on performance management processes to ensure legal soundness and consistency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for sensitive cases, ensuring fair treatment and risk mitigation.
Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and operational teams on labor law and employee relations matters.
  • Support negotiations with works councils, unions, or employee representatives when applicable.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel, labor authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
Risk Management & Governance
  • Identify employment-related legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to labor compliance.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping to support legal defensibility.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Deliver training and guidance to managers and HR teams on labor law, employee relations, and best practices.
  • Promote consistent and compliant application of HR policies across the organization.
Qualificaltions and Competencies
  • Degree in Law (mandatory); specialization in Labor or Employment Law is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in employment law, HR legal advisory, or employee relations roles.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of Italian labor legislation and employment practices.
  • Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization is an advantage.
  • BPO experience preferred
