Job summary

UNGUESS S.r.l. is seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to support our Italy and France people agenda. You will partner with local managers on recruiting, onboarding, and performance management, acting as a trusted reference for business in both markets.

Requirements include 2–4 years in generalist HR, knowledge of Italian labour law, and excellent English. The role offers exposure to multi-country HR initiatives with a market-focused compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in generalist HR roles, ideally in multi-country or international environments.
• Solid knowledge of Italian labour law; familiarity with French labour law is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a close business partner to local managers on recruiting, onboarding and day-to-day people management across Italy and France;
• Run structured 1:1s with managers and support them on operational performance management;
• Contribute to talent acquisition, internal mobility and retention initiatives;
• Support the rollout of group HR policies, adapting them to regulatory specifics of each market;
• Monitor HR KPIs and support reporting to HR Lead ITA+FR;
• Be the go-to person for employees and managers on HR partnering topics;
• Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects (training, engagement, surveys)

We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented HR Business Partner to join our HR team, supporting our Italy and France people agenda. This role will partner closely with local managers on recruiting, onboarding, 1:1s and operational performance management, acting as a trusted point of reference for the business in both countries.

Responsibilities

• Act as a close business partner to local managers on recruiting, onboarding and day-to-day people management across Italy and France;
• Run structured 1:1s with managers and support them on operational performance management;
• Contribute to talent acquisition, internal mobility and retention initiatives;
• Support the rollout of group HR policies, adapting them to the regulatory specificities of each market;
• Monitor HR KPIs (turnover, headcount, engagement) and support reporting to the HR Lead ITA+FR;
• Be the go-to person for employees and managers on HR business partnering topics, working closely with the HR Operations function for administrative and payroll-related matters;
• Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects (e.g. training initiatives, employee engagement, internal surveys)

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in generalist HR roles, ideally in multi-country or international environments;
• Solid knowledge of Italian labour law; familiarity with French labour law is a plus;
• Good written and verbal communication in English;
• Strong relational and interpersonal skills, comfortable building trust with managers and employees at all levels;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously;
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, constantly evolving organizational contexts, maintaining effectiveness and proactivity in the face of change;
• Curious and proactive approach to artificial intelligence and digital technologies, with an interest in integrating them into daily work processes;
