Job summary

The Westin brand seeks a housekeeping supervisor to inspect guest rooms, public areas, and amenities after cleaning, verify room status, and prioritize turnover and departing rooms. You will coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to maintain quality standards.

You will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff. Adhere to safety policies, protect assets, and ensure professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Related work experience: At least 1 year.
• Supervisory experience: At least 1 year.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing rooms.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
