MEININGER Milano Lambrate is seeking an experienced hotel leader to manage all operational tasks, recruit and report, and plan budgets. You will optimize staff scheduling to deliver outstanding guest service and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Revenue Management from our Berlin HQ.

• At least 2 years of experience in hospitality.
• Work experience in Italy is a plus.
• Inspirational leadership and enjoy leading a diverse, motivated team.
• Solution-driven mentality with entrepreneurial thinking.
• Understanding of KPIs, budgeting and operational performance.
• MS Office and front office systems knowledge (Sihot, Fidelio).
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian & English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

YOUR TASKS

• Are responsible for all operational tasks in the hotel, including but not limited to recruitment, reporting, budget planning etc.
• Ensure our guests experience the best service through optimal staff scheduling
• Work closely with different departments in our Berlin HQ such as HR, Finance, Revenue Management etc.
• Lead directly a team of Assistant Managers and several shift leads in addition to a team of receptionists, service employees
• Secure a safe and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests with a keen eye for individual needs and desires
• Set long- and mid-term goals for your team and live to motivate them by being approachable, giving continuous feedback and discuss personal development- and job opportunities
• Ensure all health, hygiene and safety regulations in the hotel are respected at all times

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 2 years of experience in hospitality
• Work experience in Italy is a plus
• Inspirational leadership and have joy in leading a diverse, motivated team
• A solution-driven mentality, showing strong commitment and an entrepreneurial way of thinking
• Understanding of KPIs, budgeting, and operational performance
• Profound knowledge of MS Office and front office systems (e.g. Sihot, Fidelio)
