CNH is seeking a FEA-Virtual Analyst & Hoses & Cables Expert to perform virtual simulations validating hydraulic hoses, cables and harnesses for AG and CE machinery. You will analyze assemblies, predict off-targets, and contribute to reducing failures and downtime through robust virtual validation.

The role requires a Master’s degree in mechanical or related fields and 1–2 years of experience in machinery. Domestic/international travel may be required and collaboration with global teams is

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical/automotive/material engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of professional industry experience in machinery/heavy machinery/agriculture/commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical assemblies design principles.
• Knowledge of industrial material properties and characteristics.
• Basic knowledge of Optistruct, Abaqus or other similar commercial FEA solvers (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Python programming code would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Perform virtual analysis to validate flexible components and assemblies using IPS Cable Simulation or similar software.
• Collaborate with designers during concept phase to predict off-targets and facilitate virtual validation.
• Prepare results reports according to procedures and present findings to engineers and management.
• Populate component database with supplier catalogs, bench test results and characterization data.
