Job summary

Dana Incorporated in Reggio Emilia, Italy, is seeking a hydraulic engineer to join the international development team. You will design flow control and hydraulic units, run 0D/CFD/FEM simulations, and support production and field issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experiences in similar role
• Experience in hydraulic design and development from concept through testing to production
• Experience in design of electro-hydraulic systems and hydraulic power units
• Fluent in English is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze input/customer specifications
• Estimate ED&T costs for a project
• Perform feasibility studies and final design of units
• Numerical verification (0D, CFD, FEM) of the design
• Prepare prototypes and define validation
• Evaluate product performance, quality and safety
• Resolve field/internal claims using the 8D method
• Manage documentation for production and customers
• Propose solutions to problems
• Support operations in day-to-day engineering issues
• Generate innovative ideas aligned with market and OEM requirements
• Prepare technical reports and manage project risks and opportunities
