Constantia Flexibles in Modena, Italy, seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee scheduling, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives across a flexible packaging operation.

You will lead shift supervisors, optimize resources, and ensure ISO standards and safety compliance while collaborating with QA and maintenance teams.

The role requires 5+ years in production management, strong leadership, and knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Fluent English benefits the role.

• Oversee production scheduling to meet delivery times, setting priorities and allocating resources;
• Manage the department’s budget by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, processing costs, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE);
• Monitor the operation of complex machinery, leading preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize machine downtime;
• Guide shift supervisors by identifying and addressing training gaps and implementing continuous improvement methodologies
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations and procedures and as the Safety Officer, ensure compliance with health and safety requirements (Legislative Decree No. 81/08 and other applicable regulations and procedures)

Your Profile

• Preferred educational background: high school diploma;
• Required prior experience: at least 5 years in production management roles within companies specializing in the production of flexible packaging or converting.
• Knowledge of English;
• Production scheduling techniques (fine scheduling), knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, and problem-solving methodologies
• Excellent leadership skills, analytical abilities, and strong stress management together with flexibility, determination, and autonomy
