Job summary

WeRoad Ltd invites a strategic Head of Finance to steer a ~10-person finance team across Accounting, Tax and Treasury. The role drives robust monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, tax planning, and treasury management while partnering with FP&A on budgeting and forecasting to support rapid growth.

Additionally, you’ll push automation, strengthen internal controls, and liaise with auditors, banks and the Board to ensure accurate financial reporting. Fluent English and Italian are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior finance management in a fast-growing, multi-entity environment.
• Strong accounting, tax and treasury knowledge, Italian GAAP; IFRS a plus.
• Experience with budgeting, planning and forecasting processes.
• Proven track record leading teams of ~10 people.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate numbers into business insight.
• Familiarity with automation and AI tools to streamline finance processes.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow a Finance team of ~10 across Accounting, Tax and Treasury.
• Oversee the full accounting cycle and monthly, quarterly, year-end closes.
• Supervise tax compliance and planning with external advisors.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, liquidity planning and multi-currency payments.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, planning and forecasting.
• Drive process improvement and automation across Finance.
• Act as main contact for auditors, tax advisors and banks; report to Board.
