Job summary

Rayner Italia Srl is seeking a Finance Controller to own the month-end close and management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting for the Italian entity. You will lead AP, inventory accounting, intercompany settlements and close processes, partnering with local operations and the Head of Finance - Europe.

The role is based in Agrate Brianza on a hybrid model (3–4 days on-site, 1–2 days remote). Fluent English and Italian are required, with IFRS/Italian GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant certification required (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Italian equivalent).
• Finance Controller experience with month-end close and management accounts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar).
• Fluent English and strong Italian working proficiency.
• Understanding of local taxes, IFRS reporting and Italian GAAP.
• Experience with intercompany processes and transfer pricing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and management reporting for Rayner Italia Srl.
• Manage accounts payable, inventory accounting and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare full monthly management pack including P&L, BS, CF and variance analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee intercompany recharge processes across European entities.
• Deliver group reporting schedules and liaise with auditors.
• Support NetSuite implementation and other finance systems in Italy.
• Provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Customer Service on financial analysis.
