Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Head of Data Science & Credit Risk in Italy to lead ML-powered underwriting and risk decisioning across markets. You will own end-to-end model lifecycles, build a high-performing analytics team, and align risk strategy with growth while ensuring responsible lending.

This leadership role requires collaboration with Engineering, Product, Finance and executive stakeholders to translate analytics into measurable business outcomes and expand

Competenze

• 10+ years in data science and consumer credit risk, fintech or related fields.
• Proven leadership of credit policies and portfolios at scale.
• Experience deploying production ML in real-time decisioning environments.
• Strong experimentation and A/B testing experience.
• Solid statistical foundations paired with modern ML approaches.
• SQL proficiency and cloud data platforms experience.
• Cloud data infrastructure familiarity; BigQuery is a plus.
• Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Startup mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets is advantageous.
