Nicholson Search and Selection is seeking a GTM Engineer in Milan (Hybrid) to design and implement workflows that empower Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will build automations, enhance lead routing, and improve data quality across the go-to-market stack.

Competenze

• 2–4 years in GTM Engineering or Revenue Operations.
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce).

• Familiarity with APIs, data workflows, and integrations.

About the Company

Our client is a venture-backed AI startup/scale-up developing technology that helps businesses automate processes, improve decision-making, and unlock operational efficiency through artificial intelligence.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking for a GTM Engineer to build the systems, automations, and infrastructure that support a scalable and data-driven go-to-market function.

Location: Milan (Hybrid)

Type: Full-time

Compensation: €40,000-€50,000 base salary + performance bonus/equity (where applicable)

The Role

The GTM Engineer will sit at the intersection of Revenue, Product, Operations, and Engineering.

This is a hands-on position focused on building the workflows, automations, and tooling that enable Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to operate more efficiently. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving commercial challenges with technical solutions and wants to have a direct impact on growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain go-to-market workflows across the customer lifecycle.
• Build automations using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Make, Zapier, n8n, and AI-powered solutions.
• Develop lead sourcing, enrichment, qualification, and routing processes.
• Improve CRM structure, reporting capabilities, and data quality.
• Build integrations between systems using APIs and no-code/low-code tools.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to identify inefficiencies and automate manual processes.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Growth Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of modern B2B SaaS or technology go-to-market processes.
• Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms including Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Familiarity with APIs, data workflows, and system integrations.
• Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English.

Preferred Background

• Experience within SaaS, AI, or high-growth technology companies.
• Exposure to tools such as Clay, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, Hightouch, or Census.
• Experience implementing AI agents, LLM-based workflows, or commercial automation projects.
• Understanding of revenue operations, growth systems, and commercial analytics.
