Job summary

BAT in Trieste is seeking a Data Platform & Governance Manager to shape how data is accessed and used across Growth CX, Global D&A and DBS, delivering scalable, AI‑enhanced data products and governance. You will own data requirements, drive cross‑functional alignment and ensure reliable data flows for analytics, activation and channel performance across markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering or analytics enablement.
• Experience with centralised data platforms and martech/adtech ecosystems.
• Experience with growth/marketing data ecosystems (CDPs, analytics tools, activation platforms).
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, event monitoring, and AI/ML data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to influence through negotiation and relationships.
• Global exposure across markets and regulatory environments.
• Understanding of Fabric, BigQuery and martech ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prioritize data requirements across sources, schemas and real-time needs.
• Represent Global Customer & Consumer Experience in DBS tooling and roadmap discussions.
• Drive governance implementation and secure platform capacity for growth and AI workloads.
• Serve as liaison between Growth CX, DBS, and Global D&A.
• Onboard martech tools from evaluation to data pipeline setup and ingestion.
• Coordinate schema design, event tracking standards and data quality.
• Own data governance and compliance across markets.
• Track data metrics and conduct service reviews for continuous improvement.
