Artemest cerca un Group Accounting & Tax Manager per gestire la dimensione di gruppo della funzione finance, con responsabilità su contabilità consolidata, tax internazionale e intercompany. Riporterai al Head of Accounting & Controlling e collaborerai con CFO.

Ruolo hands-on, ideale per chi ha solido background in audit o tax e desidera crescere in leadership finanziaria a livello internazionale, con sede in Italia e opportunità di collaborazione globale.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience, ideally starting in audit with a Big Four or mid-tier firm, on international or multinational clients.
• Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC), closing processes and intercompany accounting.
• Working knowledge of VAT in intra‑EU and extra‑EU transactions; familiarity with customs and transfer pricing principles.
• Fluent English, written and spoken (C1 or above).
• Native or fluent Italian.
• Ownership and problem-solving: you take an unclear issue, frame it, involve the right advisors, challenge their conclusions and close it.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• International tax & subsidiaries compliance: manage tax and statutory calendar for foreign subsidiaries; coordinate with local advisors and auditors.
• Group accounting: support month-end, year-end closing and group reporting package.
• Projects and team support: assist CFO on corporate finance projects and during peak periods; improve processes and controls using SAP and AI tools.

Posizione

We are looking for a Group Accounting & Tax Manager to own the group-level dimension of our finance function: everything that happens across our entities and outside Italy.

You will report to the Head of Accounting & Controlling and work closely with the CFO. You will be the internal owner of international tax and compliance, the go‑to person for intercompany and group accounting, and the main point of contact for our external advisors abroad.

This is a hands‑on role with real ownership. It suits someone with a solid audit or tax background who wants to move in‑house and grow into a broader finance leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

International tax & subsidiaries compliance

• Own the tax and statutory compliance calendar of our foreign subsidiaries (US, UK, UAE),coordinating local advisors and auditors.
• Oversee indirect tax outside Italy: UK VAT, EU OSS/IOSS, US sales tax and UAE VAT, including registrations, filings and periodic reviews.
• Monitor customs and duties on cross-border shipments and lead refund or recovery procedures with brokers and advisors.
• Manage intercompany agreements, recharges and transfer pricing documentation together with external advisors.
• Identify tax and compliance exposures early, propose remediation and drive it to closure.

Group accounting

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing of the subsidiaries and the group reporting package.
• Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements, supporting the Head of Accounting & Controlling on closing and audit.
• Support the statutory audit, preparing schedules and handling auditor requests on the areas in scope.
• Contribute to the evolution of group reporting, including consolidated financial statements.

Projects and team support

• Support the CFO on strategic and corporate finance projects, including financial and tax documentation for investors, lenders and other third parties.
• Provide support to the finance team during peak periods (closing, audit) and on complex administrative matters.
• Help improve processes and controls, making the most of SAP and AI tools already in use.

Requisiti

• 4 to 7 years of experience, ideally starting in audit with a Big Four or mid-tier firm, on international or multinational clients.
