SITAEL is seeking a Ground Segment System Engineer in Rome with a strong background in GS engineering for LEO missions. You will coordinate design, requirements, interfaces and budgets, ensuring successful integration with space and launch segments.

Fluency in English and ECSS standards experience are essential for cross‑country collaboration and delivery. The role involves leading internal teams and coordinating with external partners, from concept through detailed design, integration,

Competenze

Master degree in Aerospace Engineering.
At least 5 years of GS engineering experience for LEO missions.
Strong knowledge of DOORS and MBSE tools.
Solid UML/SysML skills and MBSE approach.
Proven track record coordinating international partners.
Experience in HW/SW procurement within GS architecture.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of GS engineering processes and ECSS standards.

Mansioni

Coordinate the GS Engineering team for design, prep and execution.
Prepare subsystems technical requirements specifications.
Define and justify GS architecture from concept to detailed design.
Define and verify GS technical interfaces with space/launch segments.
Oversee GS engineering budgets and performance tracking.
Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors during design, development and acceptance.
Collaborate with the GS AIV Manager for Integration and Validation.
Coordinate with OPS Manager during operational validation, LEOP and commissioning.
