Telespazio invites applications for a Junior position aimed at supporting Space Missions Management and Coordination within its Fucino Space Center. The candidate will engage in defining operational scopes, staffing, and delivery of mission operations across telecommunication, remote sensing and navigation contexts.

Availability to work abroad for limited periods is included. Hybrid working arrangement and a permanent-term contract are offered with a competitive package and learning

Competenze

• Master degree in Electronic, Aerospace, Management Engineering.
• Experience of at least 2 years on Space Missions Management and Coordination tasks.
• Space Missions Ground Operations preparation and execution phases.
• Certified knowledge and work experience on virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing.
• Knowledge of Micro-services Architectures and related SW Design & Development processes.
• English language at proficiency level C1 (spoken, written).

• Preparation and management of technical and operational inputs to commercial proposals, including the definition of operational scope, assumptions, resources and cost estimates.
• Definition and sizing of the operational teams required for the execution of the Mission Operations and ILS&M activities, including roles, responsibilities, skills and staffing levels.
• Definition and preparation of Work Package Descriptions (WPDs), including scope, activities, deliverables, milestones, interfaces, resources and responsibilities.
• Supervision of the applicable operational products development and validation process.

The candidate will be called to provide his activity in the Telespazio Fucino Space Center, with the possibility to be involved for short/medium timeframes in other’s Company or Customers operational/engineering centers, with the main goal to grant the proper technical and operational exploitation of systems composing the Space Mission Ground Segment (in the telecommunication, remote sensing and/or navigation technological context).

• Micro-services Architectures and related SW Design & Development processes;

Additional Skills & Experience

Knowledge of:system engineering standards applicable for Space Missions Ground Segments development, operations engineering and operations execution phases; Knowledge of LEO/MEO/GEO satellites missions ground segment architecture and operations management concepts; English language [C1: Comprehension – Spoken – Written]. Strengths in analysis, synthesis and presentation, coupled with very good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to apply these to the interactions within a team and between teams.
