Job summary

Metal Technologies is seeking team members for 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm) and 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am) to operate grinders, inspect castings, and support automated cells in a modern metal casting facility. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience; completion of the RDI Team Member Selection System is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Successful completion of the RDI Team Member Selection System.

Responsibilities

• Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing PPE and following safety rules.
• Visually inspects castings/parts for defects as per criteria sheet.
• Finishes parts by removing risers and grinding surfaces to specification.
• Operates grinders and automated cells for processing castings.
• Operates a forklift and communicates production issues to supervision.
• Performs general housekeeping and works in other areas as needed.
• Gauging when required and defect categorization for scrap decisions.
