Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support its projects in Italy. You will manage the full grid connection process with operators, draft HV connection applications, and analyze technical feasibility, coordinating with design, permitting, and project teams.

The role requires electrical engineering expertise, 2–3 years in renewables grid connections, and fluency in English. Hybrid or remote work is offered with periodic visits to Bologna offices.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering.
• 2–3 years experience in electrical connections for renewables.
• Proven experience in HV substations construction.
• Knowledge of Italian Grid Connection Process (and Terna/e-distribuzione).
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the full grid connection process with grid operators (Terna, e-distribuzione).
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support development and permitting with focus on electrical aspects.
• Coordinate with design, legal, and project management teams.
