Opdenergy is seeking a Grid Connection Engineer to support its ongoing and future projects in Italy. The role focuses on managing grid connection processes, HV substation construction, and coordination with Terna and distributors.

The candidate should hold an Electrical Engineering degree with 2–3 years of experience in renewable energy grid connections and must be proficient in Italian regulations and English. Hybrid or remote working with occasional visits to Bologna offices is offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electrical connections for renewable energy plants.
• Experience in HV substations construction.
• Experience in grid works with E-distribuzione.
• Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Proficient in Italian regulations; English proficiency required.

Mansioni

• Manage the entire grid connection process with grid operators.
• Draft and submit medium/high voltage grid connection applications.
• Analyze technical outcomes and verify feasibility.
• Support development and permitting phases, focusing on electrical aspects.
• Collaborate with legal, permitting, and project management teams.
• Estimate costs and schedule interconnection works.
• Coordinate with designers and assist in connection-side designs.
• Prepare tender processes for grid interconnection works and review bids.
• Support contracting to ensure works comply with requirements.
• Supervise engineering and construction activities related to grid connections.
• Participate in commissioning phases and perform site surveys.
