Topcon Positioning Group in Modena, Italy, is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our facility & test centre in Concordia sulla Secchia. You will support testing and validation of GNSS receivers, OEM boards and communication devices used in high‑precision positioning for construction, geospatial and agriculture.

In this hands‑on role you will verify, report results, and work with lab equipment, firmware recovery and field workflows. Hybrid work may be possible after onboarding.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geomatics, Geodesy, Environmental/Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geosciences.
• Or Italian Geometra diploma with practical surveying experience.
• Hands-on testing or QA background is a plus, strong GNSS hardware knowledge is sufficient.

Mansioni

• Perform verification and validation testing on GNSS products and related devices.
• Create test reports and maintain coverage aligned with product requirements.
• Use automation tools and analyze results to support troubleshooting.
• Reproduce and investigate issues reported by users and dealers.
• Work with lab equipment, firmware recovery, modules and device connections.
