Topcon Positioning Group is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join the Concordia sulla Secchia facility in Modena, Italy. You will test GNSS products, validate receivers, OEM boards and communication devices, and report results for high-precision construction and geospatial solutions.

You will perform verification, create test reports, use automation tools, troubleshoot with the team, and support field testing in a hands-on environment with lab equipment and devices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in Geomatics/Geodesy or related field, or Italian Geometra diploma with surveying experience.
• Practical experience operating survey-grade GNSS equipment in the field.
• Solid understanding of GNSS concepts, positioning methods and local CRS.
• Formally testing or QA background is a plus, but not required.

Mansioni

• Perform verification, validation and R&D testing on GNSS products.
• Create test reports and maintain test coverage per requirements.
• Use automation tools, analyze results and assist troubleshooting.
• Reproduce and investigate user/dealer reported issues.
• Work with lab equipment, firmware recovery and device connections.
