PPG is seeking a Global Technical Support Manager to lead delivery of high-quality, responsive technical support within PMC Protective. This role ensures best-in-class customer support for complex, high-value projects and strengthens relationships to drive growth.

The position involves coordinating cross-regional teams, supporting FPSO/FLNG and industrial segments, and interfacing with Product Management, Engineering, and R&D to advance standards and test data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong experience in Protective & Marine coatings or comparable industries.
• Strong business acumen.
• Proven background in technical support, project engineering, or specification management.
• Experience with complex global projects (e.g., Marine, EPC-driven environments) preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards, certifications, and testing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-regional technical support efforts across geographies.
• Provide timely and accurate technical support to global customers, KAM teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Support complex projects and applications, including FPSO/FLNG, infrastructure, and industrial segments.
• Review and contribute to owner and EPC specifications, ensuring alignment with test data and real-world performance.
• Prepare technical statements, reports, and guarantee support documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations and workshops to customers, Owners, and EPCs.
