Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a GRDQ Quality and Food Safety Supplier Manager to define and drive the global supplier quality framework. You will collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and R&D across regions to ensure supplier approval, qualification, monitoring, and maintenance align with GFSI and regulatory standards.

The role requires a degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and at least 8 years in quality, food safety, or supply chain

Competenze

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, Supplier Quality, or Supply Chain management within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong understanding of supplier qualification, auditing, risk management, and quality systems.

Mansioni

• Define and coordinate deployment of the global supplier quality strategy, standards, and governance model.
• Develop and maintain global procedures, policies, and requirements for supplier approval, qualification, monitoring, and requalification.
• Establish harmonized ways of working across all regions and manufacturing sites.
• Align Materials Management, Incoming Control and Monitoring Rules.
• Lead the development and implementation of the supplier approval process for direct and indirect suppliers
• Define qualification requirements, risk assessment methodologies, and approval criteria.
• Define supplier performance indicators, scorecards, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Drive supplier development and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations, including GFSI requirements, FSSC 22000, and local legislation.
• Support crisis management, supplier incidents, recalls, and root-cause investigations.
• Foster a culture of quality excellence and proactive risk management throughout the supply chain.
