Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a GRDQ Quality and Food Safety Supplier Manager to define and drive the global supplier quality framework. You will collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and R&D across regions to ensure supplier approval, qualification, monitoring, and maintenance align with GFSI and regulatory standards.

The role requires a degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and at least 8 years in quality, food safety, or supply chain

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, Supplier Quality, or Supply Chain management within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong understanding of supplier qualification, auditing, risk management, and quality systems.

• Develop and maintain global procedures, policies, and requirements for supplier approval, qualification, monitoring, and requalification.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Group Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving the global supplier quality framework across all regions and categories. This role establishes and governs the global ways of working for supplier approval, qualification, monitoring, and maintenance, ensuring consistent standards and risk management throughout the supply chain.

Working closely with Procurement, Quality, Food Safety, Operations, R&D, and regional teams, the Global Supplier Quality Manager will drive supplier excellence, harmonize processes, strengthen compliance, and support business growth through a robust supplier quality management system.

What you will do

Our Perfect Candidate

• Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, Supplier Quality, or Supply Chain management within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong understanding of supplier qualification, auditing, risk management, and quality systems.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, warehouses, logistics providers, and indirect sourcing.
• Solid knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, including FSSC 22000, GFSI, HACCP, and GMP.
• Experience with digital quality management systems and supplier management platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global and multicultural environment.

The position offers a gross annual salary starting from 70,000€. Additional compensation and company benefits may also apply and will be discussed and defined during the selection process and on an individual basis.
