Job summary

Esko, a Veralto company, invites applications for a Financial Compliance Lead, reporting to the Global Controller. The role is remote with occasional visits to the Ghent office.

You will drive SOX compliance, US‑GAAP alignment, and global internal controls across Esko’s operations, coordinating audits and risk programs while partnering with Veralto teams. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in economics/finance, 3+ years in audit or controlling, and strong Excel and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in internal/external audit or controlling in an international setting.
• SOX experience, esp. sections 404 and 302.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the super user for AuditBoard, overseeing audit and compliance software usage.
• Define, assure, and execute the global SOX program across Esko.
• Lead the definition and optimization of internal controls and ensure US‑GAAP compliance (CAPEX, revenue, leasing).
• Act as a subject matter expert in accounting and finance policies, esp. revenue recognition and lease accounting.
• Drive the implementation of best‑in‑class financial processes and internal controls globally.
• Coordinate enterprise‑wide risk initiatives (e.g., Anti‑Corruption Program, ERM) and balance sheet reviews with Veralto audit teams.
