Job summary

The World Food Programme in Rome, Italy seeks a Business Innovation Senior Consultant to support BIU/UNAA projects and advise senior leadership on priority initiatives. The role involves data analysis, project management, and cross‑UN collaboration.

You will work on UN Reform initiatives, develop new strategies, and help implement change plans across UN agencies, while maintaining high-quality written materials and effective stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

Degree in business, economics or engineering.
Around 4 years of national/international experience in a business or international relations related position; at least 4 years in management consulting or innovative finance.
Ability to develop new strategies and innovative projects.
Strong analytical abilities (quantitative and qualitative) and ability to produce high-quality written materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
Experience with optimization of strategic planning, sourcing, logistics, finance processes, and performance management.
Collaborative spirit, time management, autonomy and motivation to achieve WFP aims.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of BIU/UNAA projects and advise senior leadership on prioritization of key initiatives.
Provide analytical and project management support and help drive implementation.
Contribute to UN Reform/UN80 implementation and participate in inter-agency projects.
Assist knowledge management reviews and best practices sharing; respond to additional requests as needed.
