Enfinity Global seeks a Global SCADA Manager to own the design, standards and lifecycle of SCADA systems for solar PV, wind and BESS assets worldwide. Based in Italy, you will provide technical authority, set global templates and support local O&M teams across regions.

The role is within the Global IT & Cybersecurity group, focusing on secure data acquisition, grid interconnection compliance and system optimization. Travel up to 50-60% is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on SCADA engineering experience in utility-scale solar PV and/or wind projects.
• Experience with renewable energy SCADA systems and turbine controllers (GE, Vestas, Siemens) and solar inverters/PPC.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms (Ignition, OSI Monarch, Wonderware) and programming languages (Python, SQL, C++, Structured Text / IEC 61131-3).
• Knowledge of industrial networks, protocols, OT cybersecurity, and grid interconnection requirements.
• Understanding of PLC/RTU configuration, HMI development and data acquisition from field devices.
• Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-60% and hold a valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Define the technical requirements, specifications and architecture for SCADA systems — including HMIs, PLCs, RTUs, network architecture and data historians — for solar PV, wind and BESS plants; review and approve the designs delivered by EPCs and vendors.
• Define and own the integration requirements between SCADA and plant controllers (PPC), inverters, turbines, BESS, substations and grid operators; oversee and validate the integration delivered by EPCs and vendors.
• Review, witness and accept SCADA commissioning, FAT and SAT executed by the EPC/contractor; validate compliance with Enfinity’s specifications and sign off acceptance on-site.
• Accountable for technical compliance: own specifications and standards, review contractor deliverables, provide technical sign-off with EPCs/vendors responsible to execute.
• Any hands-on work is limited and exceptional — focused on validation and oversight rather than coding.
• Define and approve standards/templates for points lists, logic diagrams, alarm configurations, control narratives and IP address schemes.
• Specify and govern configuration standards for SCADA software, databases and communication protocols; review implementations by EPCs/vendors.
• Review contractor proposals, designs and documentation for compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (EPCs, OEMs, O&M, grid operators) to optimize system performance.
• Act as technical reference and center of competence for SCADA across the global portfolio; provide guidance and second-level support.
