Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Works with the unit’s business functions to understand needs
• Manage all purchasing activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility
• Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans
• Identify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability
• Manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, or business)
• 3 or more years work experience in procurement
• Experience in leading supplier negotiations and managing supplier relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers
• Familiarity with SAP is an asset
• Knowledge of electrification and/or electronics supply markets and technology is an asset
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment
• Fluent English and Italian other languages are an asset
• Willingness for short business trips within the European Union (and, occasionally, to China)

Employment Terms

• This position is based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA), Italy.
• Employment under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry
• Gross annual salary starting from €48,000, commensurate with experience and skills
• The compensation package is complemented by variable incentives and company benefits
