Job summary

ABB is seeking a product-focused engineer to drive SSCB offerings within energy transition initiatives. You will translate market needs into product specifications and manage the offer lifecycle from development to pricing and profitability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional international teams in an Agile setup to deliver value, support customers and sales on SSCB topics, and contribute to the product ecosystem across master data and reference tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Management, or related).
• Knowledge of power electronics technologies.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Genuine interest in electrical products and technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications to define product features.
• Evaluate market size, trends, and competitors to identify gaps.
• Capture market requirements and translate them into SSCB portfolio developments.
• Manage technical specifications and contribute to business case development.
• Support customers and sales on SSCB technical topics.
• Oversee product ecosystem including master data and reference tools.
• Work in an Agile team to deliver incremental value.
