Job summary

ABB is seeking a role focused on expanding the Solid State Circuit Breakers (SSCB) offering within the energy transition. You will translate market needs into product specifications, support development, launch, and profitability, and collaborate across international teams to drive value.

You will manage lifecycle activities from requirements through pricing, while engaging with customers and sales on technical topics, within an Agile environment and hybrid/work-life balance emphasis.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required in electrical, mechanical, or related field.
• Knowledge of power electronics technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in international cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications to determine product features.
• Assess market size, trends, and competitors; identify gaps.
• Capture market and customer requirements for SSCB portfolio.
• Manage technical specifications and support business case development.
• Assist customers and sales on SSCB technical topics.
• Maintain product ecosystem: master data, docs, tools.
• Work in an Agile team delivering value incrementally.
