Job summary

Fidia Farmaceutici in Abano Terme, Italy, is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead the global strategy, development, and lifecycle management of assigned products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, manage the Italian portfolio, and coordinate global campaigns and trainings for local teams to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine) or Commercial/Business (Business Administration, Marketing, Economics) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an international pharmaceutical setting with familiarity with the Italian market.
• Professional-level fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities, high learning ability, and good adaptability.

With the aim of strengthening the Eye Care Global Marketing Team, we are recruiting a

Global Product Manager

You will lead the global strategy, development, and lifecycle management of assigned products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs. You will also be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration to maximize product performance and growth across local and international markets.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and execute global product strategies, including positioning, pricing, and go-to-market approaches.
• Directly manage the assigned Italian portfolio through local strategy, annual marketing planning, execution, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination to drive business growth in the Italian market.
• Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain) to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage product portfolio, including new product development, line extensions, and discontinuations.
• Monitor product performance, KPIs, and financial results, recommending actions for improvement.
• Coordinate global marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and training for local teams.
• Support local affiliates with product‑related information, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Prepare business cases, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in product management processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences (Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Medicine) or Commercial/Business (Business Administration, Marketing, Economics) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an international pharmaceutical setting alongside solid familiarity with the Italian market.
• Demonstrated competence in market research and data analysis.
• Background in ophthalmology and prior experience as a pharmaceutical Medical Representative are both considered advantages.
• Professional‑level fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong analytical capabilities, high learning ability, and good adaptability.
