Job summary

Avio Aero in Italy seeks a senior New Program Sales Manager to drive growth in the military market, coordinating with Strategy, Marketing & Sales to align with military customer needs. You will lead efforts to participate in next-generation programs, leveraging Avio Aero's legacy capabilities and European footprint.

You will collaborate with GE Aviation units and industry partners to pursue opportunities beyond the Italian armed forces, engaging across MoDs and international consortia while

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (MBA preferred)
• Proven track record in commercial ops, sales, and business development in military and international consortia
• Experience in project/program management on international military programs with user liaison
• Knowledge of propulsion systems, contracts, and offset obligations
• Work visa aligned with local regulations; Italian citizenship; fluent Italian and English

Responsibilities

• Grow Avio Aero growth in the military market by engaging leadership and customers
• Drive participation in next-generation military programs leveraging legacy competencies
• Leverage European footprint and Italian cooperation to secure European military initiatives
• Pursue growth outside the Italian Armed Forces perimeter and partner with GE Aviation units
• Collaborate with OTR and Engineering to capture customer needs and funds early
• Lead teams to solve problems with value-stream analysis and clear decisions
• Engage with program leads and senior MoD officers across Europe
• Translate business challenges into best practices for products and processes
